About our Group Classes
Fetch Canine is passionate about teaching humans how to train and raise their puppies and dogs, to be calm, happy, and well-mannered using positive reinforcement training methods.
We design our dog training classes to be force-free, fear-free, pain-free, caring, and safe for dogs, both emotionally and physically.
We do not use training methods that are physically or psychologically intimidating.
Our certified dog trainers are CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainers-Knowledge Assessed) through the CCPDT (Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers).

Agility Foundations

Small Dogs, Big Feelings
4 Week Course $120.00

Walking a dog with reactivity issues can be stressful making walks unenjoyable. In our 4-week, small dog specific class we have two main goals:
1. To provide owners with critical handling skills so that they are confident and equipped to deal with the triggers and challenges that may arise in their everyday environment
2. To provide the dogs with the coping skills necessary to exist more comfortably in the presence of triggers that previously provoked heightened levels of fear, anxiety, and reactivity.
This class is limited to four dogs. This class is for leash/object reactivity, NOT dogs who show aggression towards other dogs/people.

Puppy Manners
5 Weeks - $150/Course
Our 5-week program will focus on the foundations that will help your puppy become a well-behaved family member! We will be working on basic obedience, impulse control, leash manners, beginner recall, polite greetings, waiting at the door, appropriate play with toys, relaxation, and handling desensitization. Your puppy will also learn appropriate play with other puppies.
This class is designed for puppies up to 5 months old
Basic Obedience
5 Weeks - $150/Course
Our 5-week program focuses on teaching your dog appropriate behavior and good manners in real life situations. You will learn key concepts/strategies to motivate the dog and train your dog according to its needs. We will teach basic skills such as sit, down, stay, come and checking in. Leash manners, not jumping, leave it, drop it and polite greetings are taught using a variety of fun activities and positive methods.
This class is designed for dogs 5 months and older.

Reactive Rover
5 Weeks - $190/Course

Recall / Leash Manners
5 Weeks - $150/Course
Build better control and confidence on walks and off-leash. This class focuses on teaching a reliable recall and improving leash manners, including loose-leash walking and reduced pulling. Using positive reinforcement, we’ll help your dog stay engaged with you, respond around distractions, and make walks more enjoyable for both of you. Perfect for dogs of all ages and skill levels
Pre-requisites:

NO reactivity or aggression to people or dogs.

Myth Busters

This five -week course is designed to take yourpup's skills to the next level by adding distance, duration, and distractions to their training. Plus, you’ll introduce exciting new behaviors to keep your dog engaged and motivated! ($150.00)

Good Dogs In the Great Outdoors 7:15 pm Class
5 Weeks - $150/Course
Take your dog’s skills beyond the classroom and into the real world. This class focuses on building reliable behaviour in outdoor environments—parks, trails, and everyday adventures. We’ll work on recall, leash manners, focus, and impulse control around real-life distractions like other dogs, people, and wildlife. Perfect for dogs who know the basics but need help applying them outside, this class helps create calm, confident companions wherever you go.

This class will teach the next level behaviors required for agility training with the ability to practice at home with few equipment requirements including:

Wrapping obstacles

Basic handling maneuvers and terminology

Intro to tunnel entries

Planks and perch work (back end awareness)

Shaping behaviors specific to agility handling

Directional cues
-
Ways to build drive/confidence in your dog through games

Warm-up and cool-down exercises
Pre-requisites:

NO reactivity or aggression to people or dogs. MUST be able to work in a group environment as there will be several activities happening at once.

If staff observes aggressive/reactive behavior, we cannot have you and your dog as part of this class for safety reasons -
Dog must be physically capable of completing agility behaviors

Up-to-Date vaccinations (as per Fetch Canine policies)
