Grace
Grace is currently accumulating hours toward her Certified Professional Dog Trainer- Knowlege Assessed (CPDT-KA) certification. Fourteen years ago, her first dog Ozzie (Australian Shepherd) inspired her to pursue dog training as he earned his Tricks Championship title at 11 years old between 2 separate cancer diagnoses. Although he is no longer with her, she has carried on all of his important life lessons: run fast, love hard and have fun! Now, she competes in the dog sports of Agility and Rally Obedience with her two dogs Finnigan (Australian Shepherd) and Zeira (Miniature American Shepherd) who are on their way to earning multiple titles. She has had previous non-competitive experience with other dog sports like skijoring/kick-sledding, bite work, scent work, tricks, sheep herding, and disk sports. All of her dogs have earned their Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) certifications as she believes is the foundation to a good relationship with your dog to open the door to sports and a lifetime of fun!
