
Policies and Agreement
Daycare, Boarding & Services Agreement**
This Agreement applies to all services provided by Fetch Canine, including daycare, boarding, grooming, training, and retail-related services. By enrolling a dog or using any Fetch Canine service, the pet parent/owner (“Client”) agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. Admission & Participation Requirements

All dogs must successfully complete a Meet & Greet prior to attending daycare or boarding. Admission is at the sole discretion of Fetch Canine.

Dogs must be leashed at all times when entering and exiting the facility.

Dogs must be at least twelve (12) weeks of age and fully vaccinated.

Dogs seven (7) months of age or older must be spayed or neutered, unless otherwise approved by Fetch Canine.

Written proof of current vaccinations is required for:
-
Rabies
-
Parvo-Distemper
-
Bordetella (optional)

Dogs receiving the Bordetella vaccination must wait eight (8) days before attending daycare, boarding, or a Meet & Greet.

All dogs must be in good health and free of communicable illness for at least thirty (30) days prior to attendance.

Dogs must be free of fleas, ticks, and parasites upon admission.

Fetch Canine reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if a dog shows signs of illness, injury, or poses a safety risk.
2. Behavior Standards

Dogs must be non-aggressive and suitable for group play.

Dogs may not display aggressive, threatening, food-guarding, or toy-guarding behavior.

Client certifies their dog has not caused injury or shown aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs.

Fetch Canine may remove a dog from group play or terminate services at any time if behavior is deemed unsafe. Removal for behavioral reasons is non-refundable.

3. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
​
Client understands that participation in group dog activities involves inherent risks, including illness, injury, bites, scratches, escape, property damage, or death. Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with their dog’s participation.
Client releases and waives all claims against Fetch Canine, its owners, employees, and representatives for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
4. Veterinary Care Authorization

If Client or their emergency contact cannot be reached, Client authorizes Fetch Canine to obtain veterinary care deemed necessary for the dog. All veterinary costs are the responsibility of the Client. Fetch Canine is not responsible for the outcome of medical treatment.

5. Indemnification

Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Fetch Canine from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) resulting from:

The actions or behavior of Client’s dog

Injury or damage caused by Client’s dog

Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by Client

6. Daycare Packages
​

Daycare packages are non-refundable.
-
Packages may be transferred between dogs within the same household only.

Packages are subject to expiration.
-
If a dog does not attend daycare for forty-five (45) consecutive days without prior notice, remaining package days will expire without refund or credit.

7. Retail Sales
​
The following items are non-returnable once opened, used, or removed from original packaging:

Food
-
Treats
-
Games
-
Puzzles
-
Slow feeders
-
Harnesses not in original packaging

All other retail items may be returned within thirty (30) days with proof of purchase, provided they are unused and in original condition.

8. Media Release
​
Client grants Fetch Canine permission to photograph or record their dog during participation in services and to use such images or video for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes without compensation.
​
9. Right of Refusal
​
Fetch Canine reserves the right to refuse service, suspend participation, or permanently remove any dog at any time for health, behavioral, or safety concerns, without liability or refund.

10. Governing Law
​
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Manitoba.
​
11. Acknowledgement & Acceptance
​
While pets are attending Fetch Canine, Client confirms they have read, understood, and agree to all terms of this Agreement and certify that all information provided about their dog is accurate and complete.
