About Fetch
At Fetch Canine we recognize that dogs come in all shapes, sizes, colours, breeds, temperaments, and unique personalities. The one thing that they have in common is how much joy they bring to our lives and how little they ask for in return.
That’s where we come in. Our mission is to work with dog owners and dogs alike, to enrich your relationships and help assist you to the best of our ability.
To do this we invest a lot of resources into training our team on proven handling methods. Instead of correcting bad behaviors, we take the time to build favorable behaviors. We then ask the dog for the new alternative and reward them generously when they make the right choice. This approach means that we end up working with our dogs, not against them.
Whether your dog is in for a short grooming visit, a day of daycare, or a long-term boarding stay it’s our goal to identify where we can work with them to improve and help you shape a better dog!
Live like the gate was left open!

Grace
Trainer
Clinical pharmacist by day, and dog trainer by night,
Grace is currently accumulating hours toward her Certified Professional Dog Trainer- Knowlege Assessed (CPDT-KA) certification. Fourteen years ago, her first dog Ozzie (Australian Shepherd) inspired her to pursue dog training as he earned his Tricks Championship title at 11 years old between 2 separate cancer diagnoses. Although he is no longer with her, she has carried on all of his important life lessons: run fast, love hard and have fun! Now, she competes in the dog sports of Agility and Rally Obedience with her two dogs Finnigan (Australian Shepherd) and Zeira (Miniature American Shepherd) who are on their way to earning multiple titles. She has had previous non-competitive experience with other dog sports like skijoring/kick-sledding, bite work, scent work, tricks, sheep herding, and disk sports. All of her dogs have earned their Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) certifications as she believes is the foundation to a good relationship with your dog to open the door to sports and a lifetime of fun!

Xavier
Canine Coach
Xavier, 25-year-old born & raised in Winnipeg. Ever since I started working with dogs in 2018 I’ve know it’s an environment I’ve naturally loved working in. Whether the dog knows it or not it brings me pleasure knowing I made a positive difference in that doggos life. Every day is a new experience, everyday matters. I originally started out as a groomer, so I have experience with many different temperaments & breeds of dogs/cats. I own 3 pets of my own, a tabby & 2 Havanese. These little fur balls are my life & I cherish them all exceptionally. The same love I show my pets at home is the same your dogs will receive in my care.
